Riverina covers an area of approximately 44 970 sq km.
The division is located in the south west of NSW, and runs east-west. In the
east from the junction of the Hume and Stuart Highways and in the west extends
to the Hay Plains generally following the Murrumbidgee River Valley. The rural
cities of Wagga Wagga and Griffith are the largest centers; major towns in the
division include Leeton, Cootamundra, Narrandera, Temora, Junee, Hay, Forest
Hill, Coolamon and Gundagai.

Things to see and do.
At Wagga Wagga See:
Visit the Wagga Wagga visitors center Phone 6926 9621, Tarcutta Street.
The Botanical gardens. The interpretive center is open 11am to 3.00pm Thursday
to Sunday.Thee is a small zoo also and an aviary housing native birds and a
kid zone.
There are two wineries near by Wagga Wagga, Wagga Wagga Winery phone 6922 1221,
Oura Road.
The Stuart University and Cheese factory phone 6933 2435, Coolamon Road.
The Museum Of The Riverina phone 6926 9655.
The Wiradjuri walking track which includes some good lookouts. You can pick
up a map from the visitors center.
About 40kms North of Wagga, the small town of Junee has some historic
buildings and some splendid pubs.
